About
A trust layer for US psychedelic therapy
Searching for a ketamine clinic, a Spravato site or a psilocybin service center today is a fundamentally different problem from finding a dentist. The regulatory landscape changes quarterly. Some modalities are FDA-approved with strict REMS requirements; others are run under state-specific licensing programs; still others are prescribed off-label with varying levels of clinical rigour. Self-reported directories make that mess worse, not better.
LicensedPsychedelics is a single-purpose directory that checks every license number against the body that issued it, and dates the verification on each listing. It is free to search, free to list, and transparent about where featured placement and lead-gen revenue come from.
We take the “ledger” part of the name seriously. Every verification, every license lapse, every clinic transition is logged. Our goal is for anyone - prospective patient, regulator, journalist, licensed clinician, investor - to be able to tell how we arrived at any decision on this site.
What we do
- Verify every listing against FDA REMS, OHA, DORA, state medical boards, ASKP3, and NPI.
- Re-verify on a rolling 30-day cycle, automatically flag lapses.
- Log every change in a public audit trail.
- Offer free listings for any licensed provider.
- Offer optional featured placement and pay-per-lead for clinics that want more visibility.
- Publish plain-English patient guides - no marketing spin.
What we do not do
- Sell rankings. Verification is never for sale.
- Act as a booking platform. Patients contact clinics directly.
- Accept self-reported license numbers without cross-check.
- Publish anonymous or AI-generated reviews.
- Give medical advice. We point at licensed providers; they give the advice.
Verification method
How we verify every listing
Our exact process for cross-checking every license against the issuing authority, the 30-day recheck cycle, and what triggers a lapse flag.

How we research, write and source
Our sourcing standards, update cadence, conflict-of-interest policy, and how to submit a correction.
Safety first, always
If you are in crisis, call 988 (US Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or your local emergency number. If you are researching psychedelic therapy for a serious mental health condition, please work with a licensed prescriber - LicensedPsychedelics is a directory, not a substitute for a care team.
