Intramuscular ketamine providers
IM ketamine is administered as a single injection (usually deltoid or gluteus). It is less common than IV and less studied, but emerging evidence suggests comparable efficacy at lower cost. Sessions are shorter to set up and often slightly longer in the chair afterward.

Common questions
How is IM different from IV?
IV allows fine-grained dose control during the session - if a patient is sensitive, the infusion can be slowed or stopped. IM is a single bolus, so dose calculation matters more up front. Onset is similar (5-15 minutes).
